11 Million users have quit smoking using the privacy on Facebook

A recent report by the Daily Mail revealed that because of privacy issues, Facebook users are leaving the social platform at a rate alarming.

A research report has revealed that approximately 11 million users have left Facebook and this figure has 9 million of the United States and about 2 million of Great Britain.

Researchers from the University of Vienna analyzed approximately 600 users of Facebook, and they discovered the following reasons why they left the social platform.

Privacy, 48.3%Superficial conversation, 12.6%Afraid to get a dependency, 6 percentGeneral dissatisfaction, 13.5%Studies show that the majority of users who leave are male aged.

Facebook like some of the other technological giants has been criticized for the lack of privacy for users and returning information of thousands of users to the Government. In August of this year, Infowars has revealed that the authorities of Facebook gave information of approximately 38 000 users in 74 countries. Half of these inquiries have come to the United States.

Technology giants cannot reveal the exact amount of the information that they gave because they have been banned by the Government to do so. However, companies like Facebook, Google, Yahoo and Microsoft have now gone for a strong alliance and are retaliation on this issue.

This alliance is put under pressure by the FISA court by the movements of housing demand to the Tribunal to give the exact figures of the demand of the intelligence agency rather than give approximations.

The general counsel of Facebook said they believe information are delivered to the public, so that they can discuss on the subject if the Government security programs are properly balance the interests of the privacy of persons while attempting to security measures for them.

The editor-in-Chief of the journal of Psychology Cyber where conclusions on this issue have been published said that after the revelations by WikiLeaks and reports about the NSA programs, people become more aware and more concerned about their problems of privacy in cyberspace.

Facebook is also examined closely political recently released rights in which they said that information from a user as well as access to its image could be used as an advertisement on other sites for their friends to see.

Well, you can say that the concerns of users associated with the protection of privacy on the social platform is entirely justified. Where your information is collected via Facebook, the prism of the NSA program can surely do so via other means such as via cellular data or by e-mail.

Love using Gmail terrorist, said former CIA and NSA Director

Michael Hayden, who is the former Director of the CIA and the NSA gave a speech to the educational forum at the Church Episcopal Saint John this Sunday.  The topic of discussions at the forum for the education of adults was the clash between freedom and security. In his speech, it came with a surprising statement that terrorists around the world prefer to use the Gmail service.

Speaking of the Prism program, he defended section 702, which covers the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and is the basis of this program. Well, it was here during the speech he said that Gmail is preferred by the terrorists of the world. One can reasonably assume that it was only indicating to services being favorite and not the provider of services (Google).  He added that Google won't be spread this fact in its commercials, but the service is free and widespread which makes it a favorite.

On being asked the question, that the program of surveillance without deduction of the USA makes a bad example for nations around the world, Hayden said that "the origins of the internet in the United States justified the NSA Act to some extent". He also added that "If the universe of the web lasts for another 500 years, then the USA can very well remember this as the Romans are still remembered for the roads they have built".

He added also that "the world of the internet was clearly enough built by Americans, and it's one of the reasons why most of the traffic through our servers. The Government takes a snapshot of this traffic for the purposes of surveillance and intelligence".

Although Hayden response cannot be comforting for US technology companies that are already eying NSA as hurting their clients overseas. A recent report given by the Foundation ITIF predicted that, because of some of the recent revelations, providers of cloud services in the United States could go lose $ 21.5 billion to $ 35 billion over a period of 3 years. The CEO of CloudFlare, a network provider and the security firm, said data request orders mass of the Government are really mad and it's forcing him to lose clients.

Mr Hayden also admitted that U.S. may very well be accused of accused of militarizing the world of the web. Tactical operations of the NSA access was reportedly charged with piracy of foreign sites with the aim of stealing data and monitoring of communications. They also develop programs that can damage and destroy foreign networks and computers through cyber attacks.

Expressing its concern for the online world of communication, MR. Hayden said he has a problem with the anonymity of the web world. He also noted the movement of the Arab spring which was funded by the State Department to protect unnamed activities that occur in the world of the internet.

Add more, Hayden said that a difficult time with this issue is still before us. He asked about our vision of the world of the internet. It's a digital world of the undivided world or a zone of peace free of fire? That said, he compared the world online with Somalia and the Wild West. Well, it seems to be clearly tilted towards the vision of the internet as a "fire free global zone".
