Facebook Page more large Telecom Company SyriaTel would have been hacked by Syria, videos graphic spam


An Algerian hacker goes with the handle of the Virus DX has hacked the official Facebook page of the greater Syriacalled SyriaTeltelecommunications company.


After support for the page which has 153 030 loves, the hacker has changed his photo of cover of SyriaTel official logo in its own cover images that shows the Algerian flag with official logo anonymous group saying "Virus DX is here".


The attacker started posting materials anti-Government such as images and videos from YouTube graphics of chemical attack deadly week last on the civilian population in Syria.


It is unclear how the hacker got access to the page and what technique was used to hack the page. At the same time time there is no declaration of SyriaTel on the hack. However, the location of post still shows that messages are made from Damascus, Syria.


Syriatel is a private telecommunications company founded in 2000. It belongs to Rami Makhlouf, a cousin of President Bashar al-Assad. Syriatel controls 55% of the market of local services and mobile telecommunications subscribers more important in Syria.


At the time of publishing this article, the social media of SyriaTel page has been hacked and the graphical content.


Update: SyriaTel Facebook page has been restored where the page admin apologized for the inconvenience and assured that no personal data or the data has been disclosed.
